Parent Information
"When a restricted environment is not balanced out by an hour or more a day when children can run hard, laugh hard, wrestle, be daring, and engage in spontaneous play, the strain shows in their behaviour."

Working in Partnership
At Squiffle Tots, we believe that a strong partnership between home and nursery school provides the very best foundation for a child's learning, wellbeing and development. Open communication, mutual trust and shared goals allow us to work together in supporting every child to thrive.
As a parent, you know your child better than anyone. Your insights, experiences and understanding of your child's personality, interests and needs are invaluable to us. By working together, we can provide a consistent, nurturing environment where your child feels secure, confident and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Throughout your child's time at Squiffle Tots, we will regularly observe their development, celebrate their achievements and share their progress with you. We also welcome your thoughts, questions and feedback, recognising that every conversation helps us better understand and support your child.
We aim to make communication easy and accessible for every family. Whether through WhatsApp, email, face-to-face meetings, or informal conversations at drop-off and collection times, our door is always open. We value the relationships we build with our families and look forward to partnering with you throughout your child's early learning journey.
Contracts & Records
A written contract will be drawn up and signed by us and parents, and dated, before their child starts at Squiffle Tots.
Contracts are reviewed periodically or if there is a change in circumstances.
Records of any specific care requests are kept with your child's record forms. These records are reviewed periodically with parents and updated if necessary.
Any significant accident or incident is shared with parents so that we can work together to resolve any issues.
Settling In
When you first come to view the setting, it would be beneficial for your child to come along so that, should you choose to use our service, your child is familiar with us and the different areas of Squiffle Tots. This will help them to settle a little easier when they first start with us.
Ages
We welcome children between 18 months – 4 years.
Fees
Please contact us for information on our termly fees and what they include.
